"Your 33 Black Angels is a rock band from Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of Josh Westfal (guitar, vocals), Dan Rosato (guitar, vocals), Adam Gerard, (guitar), Steve "Sunshine" Stapleton (bass guitar), John O'Callaghan (drums), Benji Kast (mouth harp, guitar, words), Jon Reeve (keys, squeezebox), Grant "Wanderson" Wanderson, and others. The band has produced five LPs to date, and is currently releasing a series of digital singles. It also tours extensively throughout North America and Europe."

 

The band plays tonight at Howler's with City Steps and Delicious Pastries. My thanks to guitarist Dan Rosato for taking the time to participate in this edition of First/Last.

“The Chronic”, Dr. Dre. tossed out soon after by Mom.

Your last album bought?
“Swing Lo Magellan”, Dirty Projectors. Still have it.

Favorite album of all time?
Trick question, this changes from day to day. Today: “The Good the Bad And the Ugly" Soundtrack, Ennio Morricone.

Least favorite/most disappointing album?
“Write Me Back”, R. Kelly. Get back to real talk dude.

First concert attended?
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Hartford Civic Center, 1994.

Last concert?
Roberto Carlos, Prudential Center, Newark, NJ, 2012.

Favorite concert ever?
Radiohead, Roseland Ballroom, NY, NY, 2001.

Least favorite concert?
Rage Against the Machine, Nassau Coliseum, 2000.

Any thoughts, experiences about Pittsburgh?
Went to a Pirates game once and sat through a 3 hour rain delay. Nice park.
