First/Last-Ennui

"Born in Pittsburgh, PA during the summer of 2004, Ennui has made their mark by creating textural post-rock/pop that combines good melodies with walls of guitar noise, fender rhodes idolatry and a fair share of laptop beats & bleeps. Known for spanning multiple genres for each of their albums, Ennui remains constant on their evolving path of sound."

“Licensed to Ill” by The Beastie Boys.

Your last album bought?
“Sunlight” by Herbie Hancock.

Favorite album of all time?
If based on plays, I’d say “Music Has the Right to Children” by Boards of Canada.

First concert attended?
David Bowie and NIN.

Last concert?
I work at a music venue but the last concert I actually went to see outside of work was M83.

Favorite concert ever?
Sigur Ros at the Hollywood Bowl.

Favorite thoughts, experiences about Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh feels like one big family. Because of its small size everyone sort of knows everyone else. That can lead to a lot of problems but it's also a very great attribute to the city too. Summer is very short here but very well spent.
