I am what you would call a 'casual' fan of the band. I have heard all the glowing praise of their live show for years now and still wasn't prepared for how great this concert was. The band casually ambled onstage to soundcheck. Some entrance? Frontman Wayne Coyne even addressed the audience and explained how he was going to come out into the crowd in the 'space bubble'. Jeez, talk about spoiler alert, there goes the element of surprise. Well, it didn't matter when he and the band did start the show a few minutes later, it was just unbelievable. I have never, and will never see a start of a concert like that again. It was amazing. The rest of the night was cool as well. Great music, great stage show, and those trains!
